About the Artist

I am a college student at the University of the Pacific, an artist, a poet, a musician, a softball player, a girl, a teenager, and a lefty activist, among other things. I'm pretty darned average physically. Perhaps a little bit tall at 5'8, but my average weight, light brown wavy hair and hazel eyes sure don't make me stand out in a crowd. I'm a firm believer that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I come from a large family, and I'm sort of in the middle. I used to be the youngest of four, but then my dad got married again. The oldest of my five siblings is 33, and the youngest is a baby, but they're not actually related. (It's complicated, okay?) Almost all of them are computer nerds. I think computers are evil. (My sister designed this page.)

I have always had many interests. It's my hobby. I guess you could say I'm a jane-of-all-trades. I play the piano, the trumpet, and the French horn, draw, paint, and sculpt, write short stories and poems, and play softball and ping-pong (and any other sport that I know the rules of). My room is a perpetual mess, but my report card isn't. It's a tradeoff. Above is a picture of me smiling at 14 years old. In the artwork section, you'll find a pencil drawing of me at 3 that I did off a photograph. Below is a picture of me making faces at my niece (the adorable Jessica, 5 years old). Have fun!
